dreamdateuk Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to dreamdateuk.co.uk and its Singles, Mature, Gay and Lesbian communities, the dreamdateuk blog and the dreamdateuk Android app. The Android App helps people choose a community and opens its mobile website in a browser.

1. Who can use dreamdateuk

You must be at least 18 and ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom to register or use the dating communities. Provide accurate registration information and complete the age checks we require. We use OneID for age verification. An IP address or location estimate may help us detect access from outside the UK, but it does not establish a person’s age. We may refuse or remove an account where we reasonably believe these requirements are not met, subject to applicable law.

2. Your account

Keep your login details private and tell us promptly if you think someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity on your account to the extent it results from your actions or failure to keep your credentials reasonably secure. Keep your profile information accurate. You can edit available profile fields or request help at admin@dreamdateuk.co.uk.

3. What the service offers

dreamdateuk offers four separate dating communities. Joining and unlimited chat are free. Optional premium features may be offered at the price, duration and terms shown before purchase. A purchase does not renew automatically unless we clearly offer and you expressly agree to an auto-renewing product; we do not currently offer subscriptions. Features may vary between communities. We do not promise a particular number of members, replies, matches or dates.

4. Respect and safety

Treat others with respect. Do not impersonate anyone, harass or threaten people, commit fraud, solicit money under false pretences, send spam, use the service for unlawful purposes, or upload content without the necessary rights and permission. Do not post sexually explicit material where our content rules prohibit it. Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and other conduct that endangers children are strictly prohibited. See our Child Safety / CSAE Policy.

Use care when sharing personal information or arranging to meet another person. We cannot verify every statement a member makes or guarantee their identity. Report suspicious behaviour or content through available site reporting features or email admin@dreamdateuk.co.uk. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you post. You give Soirbheachas Ltd a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content as needed to operate and promote your use of the dreamdateuk service, subject to your privacy settings and our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except where limited copies must be retained for legal, safety or technical reasons or have already been shared with others. Do not upload content that infringes another person’s rights. We may remove content that breaches these terms or the law.

6. Optional purchases, cancellation and refunds

PayPal is our only payment method. Before you pay, we will show the applicable price and what the purchase provides. Contact admin@dreamdateuk.co.uk if an optional feature does not work or you wish to cancel or request a refund. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Different cancellation rules may apply depending on whether a purchase is legally a service or digital content, whether supply has started, and what information and express acknowledgements are given at checkout. We will assess cancellation and refund requests under the applicable law and the checkout terms for that purchase. Merely opening the site after paying does not automatically remove your statutory rights. Deleting an account also does not automatically remove any refund right you may have.

7. Moderation and suspension

We may review reports and take proportionate action, including removing content, limiting features or suspending or closing accounts, where we reasonably believe these terms, our safety rules or the law have been breached. Serious concerns may be referred to the appropriate authorities where required or justified. You can contact us to challenge an action. We will consider any remaining paid entitlement and applicable refund rights when an account is closed.

8. Availability and responsibility

We work to keep dreamdateuk available and secure, but maintenance, faults and events outside our control may interrupt access. Members provide their own profile information and make their own decisions about interactions and meetings. We do not guarantee the accuracy of member statements or the conduct of other members. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

9. Third-party services and privacy

Age checking, PayPal payments, social sign-in and links to external sites may be provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy notices. We explain our use of personal information in our Privacy Policy and cookies in our Cookie Policy. Accepting these Terms does not by itself provide consent for optional cookies or marketing.

10. Changes and complaints

We may change these terms to reflect changes in the service or the law. We will publish the updated terms with a new effective date and give appropriate notice of material changes. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights under an existing paid purchase. For complaints, reports or questions, contact admin@dreamdateuk.co.uk.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings in another UK jurisdiction where applicable.
